Introduction to A2 Coursework.

For the introduction to the new coursework, we were given a set of briefs ranging from music videos to teasser trailer and adverts. We were told to pick up to 2 out of the 6 briefs and these were the two that interested me:

A selection of materials related to an original children's TV drama, to include the title sequence to the TV programme, together with:
  • the front cover to a magazine for the series
  • a DVD cover for the series
and

A short film in its entirety, lasting approximately five minutes, which may be live action or animation or a combination of both, together with:
  • a poster for the film
  • a film magazine review page featuring the film
Further on in the lesson, we observed previous students work. This allowed me to see the sort of the standards that are expected in this course. Also, it depicted what was good quality work and what wasn't. This further established the boundaries in this coursework. This meant that my organisation amongst other aspects of preparation have to be set to a higher standard.
